Returns

  • We want you to love your Sunfolk Apparel pieces. If for any reason you don’t, you’re welcome to return them within 28 days of receiving your order for a refund.

    • Items must be in original condition – unworn, unwashed, with swing tags attached and in the original packaging (our hero mailer can be reused – see instructions on the bag).
    • Returns are not accepted if items show signs of wear, washing, sunscreen, stains, pet hair, or have missing packaging/tags.
    • For change of mind, wrong size, or other non-faulty reasons, we’ll refund you the product cost (minus a flat rate $7.95 return postage fee, automatically deducted from your refund).
    • Faulty or incorrect items are fully refundable with no return fee – we’ll cover the cost.
  • Simply head to our Returns Portal and fill out the return request form. Once submitted:

    1. Our team will review your request.
    2. Within 1–2 business days, we’ll email you a prepaid return postage label.
    3. Pack your item securely in the original mailer (please follow the tear-open instructions when you receive your package, so it can be reused in the case of a return).
    4. Drop it off at your local post office.
    • Return shipping for change of mind, wrong size, or preference: you pay a flat $7.95 return shipping fee, which is deducted from your refund.
    • For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: Sunfolk Apparel covers the full cost of return shipping – no fee to you.

    We recommend keeping your tracking details as Sunfolk Apparel are not liable for returns lost in transit. We hope to be able to offer free return shipping in the future.

  • At this stage, we don’t process direct exchanges. If you’d like a different size, style, or colour, we recommend:

    1. Lodging your item for a return + refund through our Returns Portal.
    2. Placing a new order straight away for your preferred item to avoid missing out, as we have limited stock runs.
  • Once your parcel reaches us, please allow up to 5 business days for inspection and processing.

    Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.) and can take 3–5 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.

    You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your refund has been processed.

  • We’re so sorry if this has happened. Please email us at hello@sunfolkapparel.com.au with:

    • Your order number,
    • Photos clearly showing the fault/incorrect item, and
    • A brief description of the issue.

    We’ll prioritise your case and send you a prepaid return label. Once received and assessed, you can choose between a full refund, replacement, or store credit.

  • Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on items that have been damaged due to incorrect washing, care, or normal wear and tear.

    Each garment comes with care instructions on the tag – please follow these carefully to ensure the longevity of your Sunfolk Apparel piece. If you’re unsure, check our Care Guide or reach out to us for tips before washing.

  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) remain unaffected. This means:

    • You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if your item is faulty, unsafe, significantly different from its description, or doesn’t do what we said it would.
    • These rights apply regardless of our 28-day return window.
    • For change of mind or wrong size, returns are at our discretion and fall under our store policy (outlined above).
