At Sunfolk Apparel, we keep things simple... no battles, no fuss, just throw-on-and-go sun protection that keeps up with real life. Our shirts are made for park runs, backyard mess, scooter laps and snack breaks… all the beautifully chaotic moments that come with raising little ones.
Every piece we make is created with real families in mind. We use a premium 165gsm polyester mesh that’s lightweight, breathable and independently tested to meet UPF50+ standards by ARPANSA, giving excellent sun protection without losing any comfort. Our shirts and rompers are quick drying, durable and designed for big park days, backyard play and all the everyday adventures in between.
We know sun safety doesn’t have to mean ugly fishing shirts. Our designs are minimalist, modern and incredibly versatile, created in soft colours and timeless prints that mix and match effortlessly with denim shorts and everyday outfits. Whether you’re heading to a playdate, a bush walk or a café catch up, our pieces are made to feel stylish, practical and easy for real life.
Our purpose is simple. We want sun protection to feel stress free and effortless, giving kids the freedom to play while staying covered. By creating stylish, practical pieces that make sun safety easy, we help families worry less and enjoy more of those everyday moments outside.

Meet The Fam Behind Sunfolk Apparel
We’re just a small Aussie family who went looking for stylish sun protection for our outdoor-loving little boy… and couldn’t find it anywhere. Everything we came across felt daggy, uncomfortable, or just not something we wanted Luka to live in.
With his fair skin (and a family history of melanoma), keeping him protected is always front of mind. But we also wanted clothes that felt cute, comfy, and versatile enough for park hangs, backyard play, or a quick coffee run.
So, like most mum hacks, Sunfolk Apparel started with us trying to solve our own problem, and now we get to share it with other families too.
