Our shirts are made from UPF50+ certified fabric, blocking at least 98% of harmful UV rays — keeping little ones protected outdoors. Thanks to its unique fibre structure, polyester naturally absorbs harmful UV rays in a way that’s similar to how sunscreen works. The fibres are also treated with UV absorbers (similar to those used in mineral sunscreens) that help block, reflect, and scatter UVA and UVB rays, increasing the UPF rating of the fabric and reducing the risk of sunburn and long-term sun damage.
